Bobby "Joe" Fowler

Gastonia, NC - Bobby "Joe" Fowler, 73, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, August 11th, at his residence. He was born September 8, 1940 native of Gaston County, son of the late, Ralph and Edna Fowler. Joe was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired after 32 years with Public Service Natural Gas. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church- 2316 Union Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Larry Liverts, Rev. William H. Calvert, Rev. John Gibbs. Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Ann Fowler; son, Bob; daughter, Whitney; sister, Judy; grandchildren, Gillian and Riley "Sassy"; 10 nieces and 6 nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Gaston Hospice - 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
