Bobby Gene Dulin

Bobby Gene Dulin, 84, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away July 9, 2024, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC.

He was born August 31, 1939, in Gaston County, NC, to the late Knox and Myrtle Medlin Dulin.

Bobby was a US Air Force Veteran. He also retired from Burlington Industries after 37 years of service. He was also a recipient of the Carnegie Award in 1967.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lelia "Linda" Dulin; brothers, Willard Dulin and Fred Dulin; and sister, Dorothy Pressley.

Bobby is survived by children, Kim Mays, Les Dulin and wife Judy, Dennis Dulin and wife Valerie, Barbara "Bobbie" Townsend and husband Dusty; brother, Mike Dulin; grandchildren, Jeremy Barker, William Barker, Shelby Dulin, Kodie Barr, Jessica Dulin, Erin Dulin, Bailey Dulin, and Clay Townsend; and several great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, 11:00 am, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Pastor Scott Mann. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Air Force.
