Bobby Dean Brown

Bobby Dean Brown, 84, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Bobby was born July 10, 1940, in Cherokee County, SC, to the late LM and Virginia Brown.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Fisher; and brother, Larry Brown.

He was a deeply religious man and took time to enjoy everything on God's great earth. He especially loved fishing, hunting, and raising his show chickens and hunting dogs (beagles). He loved music and was an excellent dancer. He and his wife, Gail, taught Shag dancing for over 30 years.

Bobby was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather that always put his family first and will be greatly missed.

Bobby is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Gail Brown; daughter Deanna Brown (Trent); his precious grandson, Burkley; and his sister, Anita Taylor.
