August 21, 1935 — December 6, 2012

Gastonia, NC Bobby Eugene Bradley, 77, native of Gaston County, NC, departed this earth and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 6, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born August 21, 1935, son of the late Joney Joe and Maude Briggs Bradley. Bob will be greatly missed by all, but especially by his family. He was a loving, dedicated husband, father and a faithful man of God, who was truly loved by all who knew him and now Heaven is blessed with his spirit. He was a graduate of Gastonia High School, Gaston College and Belmont Abbey College. Bob's many accomplishments include: his service as a US Army veteran, serving as a military police officer in Germany; a member of Unity Baptist Church, Gastonia for 49 years where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, youth minister and choir member; a member of Martha Goeble Club for the visually impaired; a member of BV's club; a retiree of the state of NC, as a juvenile court counselor. A funeral service will be held 3pm on Sunday at Unity Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Roger Mathis. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm prior to the service on Sunday at the church. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. He is survived by: his beloved wife of 50 years, Lucy Yonce Bradley; an amazing father to his two sons, Darren Austin Bradley and his wife, Siglinde Bradley, Dennis Eugene Bradley; proud grandfather of Megan and Madeline Bradley, Heidi and Dalton Ewing. Memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 482 N. Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Arrangments are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
