Bobbie Ann Stanford

Bobbie Ann Stanford, 69, of Cherryville passed away May 28, 2018 at The Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born March 6, 1949, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Rufus Medley and Eula Mae Lewis Medley.

Bobbie was a member of West Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Bowman and husband Roger Dale; brothers, Gene Medley and Russell Medley; sisters, Carolyn Stiles, Verol Medley and Tammy Medley; grandchildren, Mandy Cross, James Cross, Roy Bowman, Casey McSwain and Jerry McSwain; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Frye and brother, Marvin Medley.

All services are private.

The family will receive friends, 6 – 8 pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
