Bobbie Warren Slaton

Bobbie Warren Slaton, 84, of Gastonia, passed away August 9, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. She was born April 27, 1931 in Clover, SC, the daughter of the late, Lester and Ruby Warren. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Denise Bieleski of Gastonia, Kim Helton and husband, Lynn of Lowell; granddaughters, Michelle Albecker, Angie and Amber Nicholson; five great-grandchildren and niece, Scarlett Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Slaton; sons, Mike and Jerry Nicholson; daughter, Billie Anne Slaton and sister, Kathy Rayfield. A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Andrew Dasilva. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
