Bobbie Myers

Bobbie Burnette Myers, 81, of Gastonia, passed away June 12, 2021, at her residence.

She was born September 7, 1939, daughter of the late James and Fannie Burnette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Eugene Myers Sr.; sister, Wilma Faye Preston; brothers, James and Charles Burnette; sons, Troy Myers Jr. and Ricky Myers.

Bobbie was a member of New Faith Baptist Church.

She was a dedicated member of her church and dearly loved her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Beth Guffey and husband Larry; grandchildren, Ashley Myers, Abbey Bradshaw and husband Matt, Timothy Maybry; great-grandchildren, Shianna Gunter, Layla Myers, Tristian Myers, Madeline Bradshaw, and Wesley Bradshaw.

A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Michael Spargo and Rev. Brian Spargo, will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 16, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 pm Wednesday.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
