Bobbie Evans Leagon

Bobbie Evans Leagon, 89, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Belaire Health Care Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born January 17, 1933, in Gaston County to the late Ernest and Viola Goble.

Bobbie was a member of Union Presbyterian Church. Bobbie loved to cook for her boys, and she enjoyed her times at the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Leagon; grandson, Matthew Evans; sisters, Betty Hagan, Grace Walls, and Ruby Green.

Bobbie is survived by her sons, Tommy Evans (Teresa), Steve Evans; four grandchildren, Jason, Jeff, Amanda, and Krista; two great grandchildren, Landon, and Aubrey.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service from 6:00 – 7:30 PM.

A private graveside service will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
