Bobbie Townsend Evans

Bobbie Townsend Evans, 75, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 7, 1946, a native of Gaston Co., to the late William Townsend, Sr., and Mary Neil Butler Townsend.

Bobbie loved her family and enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorrie Dawn Childers; sons, Tony Childers and Scott Childers; brother, William Townsend, Jr.; and grandson, Shane Necessary.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Wendy Necessary (John); grandchildren, Jonathan Childers (Gretchen), Katie Childers Gilbert (Steve), Keith Necessary (Michelle), Alexandria Garland, and Angel Necessary; and great-grandchildren, Cora Gilbert and Maverick Boles.
