Bob Killian Lloyd

Bobby Killian Lloyd, 82, of Gastonia, passed away October 15, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
He was born February 13, 1935 in Gaston County, the son of the late Robert Lee Lloyd and Sarah Brewer Lloyd.
Bob was a member of Lutheran Chapel Church and the former owner of Carolina Kids Children's Clothing, Gastonia. He retired from Freightliner in Mt. Holly and was a US Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 38 years, Cathy Lloyd; sons, Mike Lloyd and wife Julie, Todd Lloyd and wife Debra; daughter, Chrystal Davis; grandchildren, Michael Lloyd (Heather), Jeremy Rhyne (Katie), Amy Lloyd, Weslee Lloyd Davis, Timothy Davis and Sarah Catherine Davis; great-granddaughter, Sarah Lloyd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Lloyd.
A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Lutheran Chapel Church, 702 N. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Michael Comer.
Receiving of friends and family will follow the service at the Family Life Center.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054 or Lutheran Chapel Church.
