Blaine Edward Ferguson

Blaine Edward Ferguson, 82, of Gastonia, passed away September 21, 2015 at Country Time Assisted Living in Kings Mountain. He was born June 17, 1933, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Zebulon Edward Ferguson and Myrtle Jones Ferguson. Left to cherish his memories are his brother James E. Ferguson and wife Eddie; sister-in-law Orpha Ferguson; nieces and nephews Gail King Lane and husband Ron, Allison Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson and wife Ruth, Jimmy Ferguson and wife Susie, Joe Ferguson and wife Mary, Tony Ferguson and wife Teresa, Barry Rhyne and wife Karen, Lisa Young and husband T.R.; great-nieces and nephews Chad Lyles, Brad Lyles and wife Gena, Nichole "Colie" Armstrong and husband Richard, Doug Long and wife Bethe, Joshua Stroud, Chris Ferguson, Brandon Conard, Kelly Young, Carson Ferguson, John Ferguson and wife Windy, Tisha Langill, Michelle Falls, Lindsay Hall and husband Chris, Christine Ferguson, David Rhyne, Bethe Keesler and husband Scott, Kelly Rhyne and wife Sheila and Kevin Rhyne and wife Bethany. A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Avenue, Gastonia. The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
