Billy Wease Sr.

Billy Wease Sr., 72, of Shelby passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Carolina's Healthcare System, Cleveland.

He was born July 23, 1944, in Cleveland County, son of the late William Worth Wease and Eva Green Wease.

Billy was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle, Dallas.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Starlene Wease; sons, Shawn Wease and wife Chastity, Billy Wease Jr. and wife Beth; sisters, Betty Jane Jenkins and husband Tom, Joyce Lynn and husband Richard, Cathie Prosser and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father in-law, Howard Gibbie.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday at Independent Baptist Tabernacle, 2128 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, N.C. 28034.

The family will receive friends two hours prior at the church.

Interment will be held at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery
