Billy Pickens

I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Billy Harold Pickens. He left this world on November 11, 2022, at the age of 64.

Born to Harold Delmer Pickens and Peggy Joseph Wilhelm on April 16th, 1958, in Reading, Ohio. One of three children, Billy has two siblings he adored: Rose Mary Rayner and Russell Joseph Pickens.

Billy worked hard as a truck driver most of his life and easily made friends along every route he drove. He spent a good portion of his life in West Virginia which he called home. Billy was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. The most important thing in life to Billy was family and anyone he befriended was considered as such.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Blair Pickens and a daughter in law, Tabitha Nichole Tobbe. He leaves behind four grandchildren; Nathaniel David Tobbe, Justin Bradley Tobbe, Hannah Jo Marie Pickens, and Claire Nichole Pickens, along with countless others he has taken under his wing.

Billy will be missed by many, even if you knew him only a short time, he was a person you could never forget. He will always hold a place in our hearts.

Billy will be cremated by Greene's Funeral Service and will be taken home to West Virginia shortly after.
