Billy Wayne Dixon

Billy Wayne Dixon, born on March 15, 1970, passed away on July 9, 2025. He was a steadfast machinist who spent many years working in the machine shop industry, where he made countless friends and shared memories with coworkers.

Billy is survived by his siblings, Angela Dixon of Bessemer City, NC, Kenneth Dixon of Casar, NC, Larry Dixon of York, SC, Dianne Crosby of Stanley, NC, and Amy Hernandez of TN; several nieces and nephews, all who will cherish the moments they had together. Known for his easygoing nature and kind spirit, he touched the lives of those around him.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Bill Stine, Doris Dixon.

There will be no formal services, but those who wish to remember Billy are encouraged to keep him in their hearts and share their favorite stories.

Billy will be missed, but his memory will live on in the laughter and camaraderie he fostered throughout his life.
