Billy Allen Clippard

Billy Allen Clippard, 65, of Gastonia, passed away September 7, 2016 at his residence.

He was born August 12, 1951 in Lincoln County, the son of the late TP Clippard and Martha Tallent.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Janis Garrison Clippard; sons Billy A. Clippard Jr. and Joseph W. Clippard of Lincolnton; daughter Barbara C. Black of Lincolnton; step-daughters Melisa D. Herron of Ranlo and Freda Doolittle of Vale; sisters Teresa Hollar, Vickie Hull of Lincolnton; brother Gene Clippard of Lincolnton 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and former spouse Joann Sherrifield.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Lee Clippard and grandson David Clippard.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 – 8 pm Saturday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
