Bill Tatham Jr.

Bill Tatham, 74, of Gastonia passed away January 10, 2013 at his home. He was born December 13, 1938 in Forsyth County , NC son of Cynthia Beck Bridges and the late Willie Van Tatham Sr. Mr. Tatham was a member of Masonic Lodge 0369, Gastonia and also was a life member of VFW Post 9337 Gastonia..He served in the US Army and the US Air Force. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Leon Humphrey. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia., with masonic rites. In addition to his mother Mr. Tatham is survived by: his loving wife of 55 years, Daisy S. Tatham; sons, Jeffrey Tatham, Dan Tatham and wife Angie; sister, Deloris Ward; grandchildren, Summer Herns, Mitchel Tatham, Evan Tatham; great grandchild, Josh Revels. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by: brother, Dennis Sherrill; sister, Peggy Golden; son, John Tatham.
