Beverly Kent Sammarco

Beverly Kent Sammarco, 92, of Gastonia, passed away January 20, 2017 at Brian Center Health and Retirement Center in Monroe.

She was born May 19, 1924 in Gray, Maine, the daughter of the late Edward Kent and Dorothy Hancock Kent.

Beverly was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gastonia.

Left to cherish her memories are her children David Edward Sammarco and wife Lois, Beverly Ann Sammarco and Richard Charles Sammarco and wife Carol; sister Donna Franklin; grandchildren David, Stephen, Michael, Jeffrey and Sarah Sammarco and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Sammarco and brothers Donald and Norman Kent.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at South Mecklenburg Presbyterian
