Betty Jean Sweezy Propes, 78, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 1, 2016 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain.

She was born February 3, 1938, in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late James E. Sweezy and Ola Bell Lawter Sweezy.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
