Betty Lou Shull

Betty Lou Shull, 83, of Bessemer City, passed away on November 4, 2014 at Peak Resources, Cherryville. She was born July 30, 1931 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clyde Abel Hager and Mattie Spencer Hager. Mrs. Shull was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, Bessemer City. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Smyrna Cemetery, Bessemer City, officiated by the Reverends Cindy Spicer and Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 1:00- 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Concord United Methodist Church, 2404 Tryon Courthouse Rd., Bessemer City. Left to cherish her memories are: son, Steven Shull and wife Cheri; daughter, Ann Millwood and husband Tommy; brother, Bob Hager and wife Betty; grandson, Travis Shull. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, William "Bill" Shull; sister, Jo Hullender. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Peak Resources for the care that was given to their mother.
