Betty Walker Mims

Betty Walker Mims, 80, of Stanley, passed away March 6, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center Lincolnton. She was born September 11, 1934 in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Freeman Walker and Janie Hutchins. A funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 12 - 12:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
