Betty Adams Medley

Betty Adams Medley, 71, of Gastonia, passed away October 17, 2016 at Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born September 30, 1945 in Elbert County, GA, the daughter of the late Marvin and Montine Adams.

Betty was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Gastonia.  She was also a beautician for over 40 years.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Lee Pennington and wife Kristine; daughter Renee Jones; grandchildren Brent, Lauren and Victoria Jones and Jeremy Pennington; sister Carolyn Wells and husband Larry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin T. Medley; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Leo Kuykendall will be held 2 pm Friday, October 21st at Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst Street, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 5 – 7 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service- 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Interment will be in Westview Gardens.
