Betty Grigg Howell

August 23, 1934 — December 31, 2022

Betty Grigg Howell, 88, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 31, 2022.

She was born in York, SC on August 23, 1934, to the late David and Sudie Grigg.

Betty was a member of Dallas Church of God.

In addition to her parents Betty was also preceded in death by her husband John Howell; grandson, Christopher Ryan Jordan; brothers, Grady Grigg, Edward Grigg, David Grigg Jr., Harold Dean Grigg; sister, Lois Chaplin.

Betty is survived by her son, Jerry Howell; daughter, Vickie Jordan; brothers, Donald "Pete" Grigg, Tommy Grigg; sisters, Alma Jean Mercer, Diane Winstead, Carol Freeman; grandchildren, Nathan Jordan, and Jerry Howell Jr.

A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Danny Shortridge, will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 12 Noon at Dallas Church of God, 311 S. College Street, Dallas, NC. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
