Betty Ann Harmon

Betty Ann Harmon, 81, of Gastonia, passed away December 17, 2015 at Testa Family Hospice House. She was born April 21, 1934 in Decatur, TN, the daughter of Ernest and Ailene Case. Betty was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Dennis and Sheila Harmon of Kings Mountain, Keith Harmon and daughter Dawn and Bob Miller of Gastonia; three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Case; sister Marie Jennings and her husband the late Robert Harmon Jr. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at noon at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. Dennis Harmon and Leo Kuykendall. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Sunrise Baptist Church Building Fund, 208 Mail Rd. Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
