Betty Gibby, 74, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Atrium Main in Charlotte.
Born on November 10, 1946, in Cherokee County, NC, Betty was the daughter of the late Haskell and Mildred McLean Gibby.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Gibby, Helen Bradley, and Alice Bradley.
Left to cherish Betty's memories are her sons, J.R. Lunsford and wife Lisa Christiansen, Shane and Donald Hardy; daughters, Donna Goins and husband Andy; brothers, Jerry and Lennox Gibby; sisters, Vicky Roberts, Janet Stone, Patricia Aiken, Rachael Frady, and Nellie Lunsford; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Inc is assisting the family.
