Betty Dinkle

Betty H. Dinkle, 82, of Clover, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2015. She was born on September 26, 1932, in Danville, VA, to the late Opal and Pattie Harris. She was a member of Mt. View Agape Church in King's Mountain, where she touched many lives over the years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She was a shining example of Christ's unconditional love and was kind, gentle, and soft spoken. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 64 years, Rev. Ray Dinkle, one daughter, Karen Roland, 2 grandsons, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, and 3 son in laws. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Ledford, Janet Hedrick, Gina Stewart (Boyd), Cathy Davis (Larry); son in law, Don Roland; 33 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and Pastor Harry Davis. The family will receive friends at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, on Monday from 6 to 8pm. The funeral will be on Tuesday, at 2pm, at Mt. View Agape Church, 506 Sparrow Springs Rd Kings Mountain, NC 28086, officiating Rev. Harry Davis. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
