Betty Jean Black, 85, of Cherryville , passed away on April 26, 2021, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.
She was born in Gaston County on October 12, 1935, daughter of the late Mason Black and Mable Clark Black.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Herman R. Tallet.
All services are private.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
