It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Anderson Beavers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on November 10, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on October 26, 1946, in Blairsville, Georgia, Betty spent her life dedicated to her family and nurturing her passions.
Betty was a lifelong Christian who found joy and solace in her faith at the South Gastonia Church of God, where she attended. Known for her artistic spirit, she loved painting and crafting, always finding beauty in the world around her. Whether it was sewing a new project or creating something special for loved ones, Betty poured her heart into everything she did.
She was married to her dear husband, Jack Beavers, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. She was also survived by son, John Eric Beavers; grandchildren, Kayla Beavers, Megan Ross, Hedan Bruce, Curtis-Dean Bruce, and Reese Ross; brothers, Steve Anderson and Floyd Anderson. Betty's family meant the world to her, and her warm spirit will live on in their hearts.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Magdalene Anderson; son, Mark Beavers; granddaughter, Ashley Ross; brother, Kenneth Anderson.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Betty's life during her funeral service, which will be held on, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at South Gastonia Church of God. 310 Carolina Avenue Gastonia. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Betty will be laid to rest at Westview Gardens.
