Bett Clemmer Strout

Bett Clemmer Strout, 91, of Rock Hill began her new life June 8, 2016.  She was born in Gaston County on July 28, 1924 the daughter of the late Eli Ray and Lois Kathleen Clemmer. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord . Suzanne would like to give a special thank you to Hospice and Community Care of York County and White Oak of Rock Hill for their loving care shown to Mrs. Strout and to Linden ARP for continuing to send cards and their visits. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Suzanne Strout of Rock Hill; best buddy and hairdresser, Mary Sue Odom; 4 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert K. Strout; sons Kenny Strout, Rick Strout; siblings Helen Jorgensen and Chuck Clemmer. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Linden ARP Church, 205 S. Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052 or a charity of your choice.
