Bertha "Faye" Bradley

Bertha "Faye" Bradley, 74, of Dallas, passed away March 11, 2017 at the Brian Center in Gastonia.

She was born September 30, 1942, in Anderson, SC, the daughter of the late George Walter Thompson and Sybil Irene Tippins Thompson.

Faye was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She was a wonderful wife, loved children and animals. She was a very loving individual and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband Dennis Bradley; daughter Diane Guffey of Gastonia; brothers and sister-in-law's Clifford Thompson, Robert and Katie Thompson, Charles and Doris Thompson, Deborah Thompson all of Gastonia; sisters and brother-in-law's Shirley and Tommy Stevens of Cramerton, Cathy and Robert Lucas of Bessemer City, Georgia Dale Baker of Gastonia; step-children Dennis J. and Nancy Bradley of Belmont, Johnny D. Bradley of Stanley, Jerry and Beth Bradley of Gastonia; 11 step-grandchildren and 2 great-step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers W. George and Danny Thompson of Gastonia; sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Melvin Calwell of Bessemer City and step-children Jeffrey F., Nancy J. and Gwendolyn D. Bradley.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family will gather at Jerry and Beth's residence in Gastonia after the service.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
