Bernice Hollifield

Bernice Hollifield, 87, of Gastonia, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Lakewood Care Center in Denver, NC.

She was born on February 8, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late James and Muade Pennell Coley.

In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hollifield; daughters, Brenda Dean and Shirley Moore; brothers, Ralph, and Put Coley; and sisters, Mozelle Featherstone, Zola Small, Iona Walker, Ethel, and Pauline Coley.

Left to cherish Bernice's memories are sons, Rickey and Bobby Hollifield; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Bernice will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
