Bernard "Pete" Tillman Jr.

Bernard "Pete" Tillman Jr., 67, of Kings Mountain, passed away May 11, 2016, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born February 15, 1949, in Marion County, Ohio, son of the late Bernard Ray Tillman and Stella Mae Hornsby Tillman.

"Pete" was a gifted and talented artist, who had received many awards,

truly a "Renaissance Man".

He was married to his loving wife Patricia for over 30 years.

He was a true animal lover. He was a veteran of the US Navy.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Jerry Millwood.

"Pete" is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; sons, Bernard III, Jeremy; daughters, Tonja and Shanda; brother, Ricky ; sister, Sandra; seven grandchildren; special four-legged friend, Zeena.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy; sisters, Roxanna and Debra.
