Benny George Creasman

July 31, 1933 — January 28, 2018

Benny George Creasman, 84, of Dallas, passed from this world to his heavenly   home and saw Jesus face to face on January 28, 2018, at his home with his         loving family by his side.

He was born July 31, 1933, in Gaston County, son of the late Charles "Buster" Creasman and Leta Wampler Creasman.

Mr. Creasman was a member of Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas. He loved farming, hunting, and fishing and was a true outdoorsman. He retired from Freightliner and was a former employee of A.B. Carter Inc.

The family will receive friends 6-9 pm on Wednesday at the church.

A going home celebration will be held 2:00pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Baptist Tabernacle, 2128 Dallas-Cherryville Highway, Dallas, officiated by the Reverends, Keith Carson, Ralph Carver and Cecil Spry.

Interment will be at the church cemetery.

Mr. Creasman is survived by his loving wife of 48 years,  Ruth "Libby" Creasman; son, Benjie Creasman; daughters, Nita Lucas, Nena Gonzalez, Quita Vellers; grandchildren, Chris McSwain and wife, Heather, Neil McSwain, Samantha and Tabitha Gonzalez; Jeremy Helms and wife, Melody; Callie Smith and husband, Cody, Kayla Creasman, Austin Butler, Gracie Kendrick; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Haleigh, Kendal, Scarlett, William, Tyler, Hayden, Crue.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Phifer; grandson, Josh Phifer; granddaughter, Logan Vellers; son-in-law, Joe Vellers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Baptist Tabernacle 2128 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy. Dallas, NC 28034.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
