Benny Keith Braswell

Benny "Keith" Braswell, 72, of Lincolnton, NC was called to be home with the Lord on January 29th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 3,1953, in Gastonia NC to the late Jesse "JT" Thomas Braswell and Betty Jean Chastain Braswell. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, Grandfather, Brother, and uncle. He was a God-fearing man who loved not just his family but anyone. He worked for time Warner cable for a good while and later worked as a pleater operator at Wix who later retired. He wanted everyone to have love, peace, forgiveness, and unity of his family. He also had a love for his music, wrestling, fishing, and traveling to see the snow in the mountains.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karla Braswell; his daughter and spouse, Chae Lynn Page (Todd); his son and spouse, Brian Dean Goodson (Casey); his stepdaughter Tonya Bridges, his brothers and spouse, Jesse "Tommy" Braswell Jr (Debbie) Larry Braswell, and Raymond Braswell; and his sister and spouse, Shauna Hannah (Dicky). Grandchildren Brianna, Tyler, Kaitlynn, Carson, Trinity, Emily, Chase and great grandchild Luke

In honor of Benny's life and legacy, a visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the love he shared with all.

The celebration of his life will culminate with a funeral service on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM, also at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, officiated by Reverend Randy Patterson. All are encouraged to attend as we remember Benny's bright spirit and the cherished memories we hold dear.

Following the service, Benny will be laid to rest at Olney Presbyterian Church, 251 Olney Church Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056.
