Benjamin Simmons

Benjamin Barrett Simmons, 65, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022.

He was born June 3, 1957, in Horry County, SC, to the late Love and Louise Simmons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Owensby, and a brother, William "Yonkie" Simmons.

Benjamin is survived by his children, Melissa Ward and husband Michael, Patty Simmons, Buddy Simmons, and Shay Simmons; fiancée Cathy Beard; sisters, Donna Sue, Cynthia, Wanda, and Brenda; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

All services will be private. The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Simmons family.
