Ben Leslie Bowen, III, 63, of Clover, SC, passed away at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC, on May 12, 2025.

He was born June 13, 1961, in Shelby, NC to Ruby Diane Harper and the late Ben Leslie Bowen, Jr.

Ben is survived by his pride and joy, his daughter, Dr. Alisha H. Bowen of Clover, SC; mother, Ruby Diane Harper of Shelby, NC; sister, Ashley Perry (Kirk) of Holly Springs, NC; stepmother, Sybil Bowen of Holly Springs, NC; and a fur baby, affectionately known as "Little Girl."

Alisha would like to thank those who assisted her in caring for her father, including Bryan Winfield Kelly, Sharon Oaks Kelly, and Kimberly Kelly Tuthill.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC. Entombment will occur at Cleveland Memorial Park and will be private.
