Barry Eugene Rosser

Barry Eugene Rosser, 71, of Shelby, passed away January 23, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center – Main.

He was born August 10, 1945 in Cherokee County, SC, the son of the late William Maine Rosser and Laura Mayhue Rosser.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons Hyle Eugene Rosser and wife Janet of Shelby and Barry Maine Rosser of Gastonia; daughters Veonka Rosser of Gastonia and Deanna Michelle Rosser Jones and husband Melvin of Savannah, GA; step-son Johnny Dewayne Steele of Gastonia; step-daughter Angela Steele of Lincolnton; sister Martha Smith and husband William of Dallas; brother John Rosser and wife Kathy of Shelby, Danny Spurrier of Lincolnton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shiela Rosser; sister Laura Rosser Snyder and half-brother Reggie Spurrier.
