Barry E. Johnson, 68, of Mt. Holly, passed away March 5, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born September 2, 1949 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late Paul Eugene Johnson and Edith Elizabeth Phillips Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane Downing and brother Paul Scott Johnson.

All services are private.
