Barry Lee Duty

Barry Lee Duty, 73, of Belmont, passed away December 1, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospital.  He was born February 8, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of over 55 years, Barbara Duty; children, Judy Parker and husband William, Cathy Snell and husband Brian and David Duty and wife Tammy; grandchildren Barry Wayne and wife Brandy, Amanda, Cathy and husband Kevin, Garrett, Dalton, Lauren, Austin, Sean, Karen, Lisa, Ashley and Peter; great-grandchildren Kayla, Haylei, Ethan, Rylan, Jayden and Raleigh and brother Joey Leemasters and wife Gail. He was preceded in death by his son Richard Duty; grandfather Roy Hall and granddaughter Regina Rivera. A funeral service will be held 12:30 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Tilley. The family will receive friends 10:30 – 12:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
