Barbara Shedd

Barbara A. Shedd, 79, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 27, 1936 in Belmont, the daughter of the late Eugene and Floymae Stone. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Doug Shedd, Steve Shedd and wife Donna; daughters, Janet Brown, Teresa Bollinger and husband Richard; grandchildren, Sandy Champion, Lorie Parker, Casey Hartness, Trinity Shedd, Elizabeth Miller and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shedd and son, Michael Shedd. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette. Visitation will be held 1 – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
