Barbara Ann Scott

Gastonia, NC Barbara Ann Scott, 77, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 21, 2012, at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born May 20, 1935 in Salem, NJ, daughter of the late Walter Peachey and Eva Peachey Downing. Prior to moving to Gastonia, Barbara worked as a legal assistant to several attorneys in Wilmington, DE. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Lowell. The family would like to thank Barbara's caregivers at the Robin Johnson House for their kind and loving care shown to her, during her brief illness. A celebration of life service will be held 11am on Saturday in the chapel of the Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC, officiated by Rev. David Clippard. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday in the chapel. Interment is private. She is survived by: daughters and sons in-law, Lorraina and Rick Biswell of Aptos, CA, Judith and Phil Maloney of Middletown,DE; daughter in-law, Virginia Conover of Gastonia; grandchildren, Matthew Conover and wife, Jana of St. Louis, MO, Erin Biswell of Aptos, CA, Tyler Lind and Caitlin Maloney both of Middletown,DE; great grandson, John Conover of St. Louis; several nieces. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: a son, Steven Conover; brothers, Bruce and Paul Peachey; nephew, Bruce Peachey Jr. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.
