Barbara "Ruth" Morrow Brooks

Barbara "Ruth" Morrow Brooks, 72, of Gastonia, passed away December 18, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1943 in Clover, SC, the daughter of the late Tom and Maggie Morrow. Ruth was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Senior TLC.  She was a great woman that was loved and will be missed dearly. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Tony Brooks and Scotty Brooks and wife Kim; daughter Michelle Brooks; brother Tommy Morrow; sisters Pauline Gilfillan and Mary Burdette; grandchildren Maria Costa and Joshua and Jacob Brooks. A celebration of life service will be held 3 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
