Barbara Ann Gillespie
February 9, 1942 — June 8, 2018
Barbara Ann Gillespie, 76, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte.
She was born February 9, 1942, in Moore County NC, daughter of the late David Hawkins and Elizabeth Martin Hawkins.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 57 years, Doug Gillespie; son, Henry Gillespie and wife, Lynn; daughters, Teresa Davis and husband, Danny, Kim Williams and husband, Jimmy; and grandchildren, Jennifer Long, J.D. Gillespie, David Williams, and Josh Gillespie.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, with the Rev. Josh Glandon officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
