Barbara "Sissy" Dills Carpenter

Barbara "Sissy" Dills Carpenter, 65, of Bessemer City, passed away December 27, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born May 13, 1958, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clyde Dills and Kay Lowery Dills.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 2-4 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel 1503 South York Road Gastonia.

Sissy is survived by her son, Steven Carpenter of Bessemer City; her daughters, Christina Tindall of Kings Mountain, Jerrie Carpenter of Shelby; brother, Jerry Dills and wife, Debbie Hayesville; sister, Marsha Braun; grandchildren, Christopher Dills, Memphis Tindall of Kings Mountain, J.J. Carpenter, Jesse James McBride, Jaxson McBride, Topanga McBride all of Clover.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Carpenter; brothers, Gary Dills, Johnny Dills; mother-in-law, Virginia Carpenter.; son-in-law, Scott Tindall.
