Barbara Moseley Cloniger

Gastonia, NC –
Barbara Moseley Cloniger, 86, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2019 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
She was born on April 25, 1933 in Winnsboro, SC, the daughter of the late Spencer "James" Moseley and Lottie Shaw Moseley.
Barbara was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Robin Dettmar and Clifford E. Cloniger, Jr.; daughter, Terry Church and husband Ted; sisters, Phoebe Hendrix and Faye McKee; grandchildren, Tracey M. Hickson, Jennifer White, Brandon and Dustin Dettmar; great-grandchildren, Haley Hickson, Spencer and Garrett Reaves, Brylyn Norton, Sersha and Noah Dettmar, Sawyer Norton, Ashley, Nicole and Taylor White; several nieces and nephews; and "adopted son", Todd Santelli.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Cloniger Sr.; son, James William Dettmar, who was one day old; grandson, John Bryan Norton; sister, Phyllis Naas; and brother, Darrell Moseley.
A special thankyou to Gaston Hospice for their love and care which was shown to Barbara.
The family will receive friends 10 – 11 am on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
A graveside service will follow on Saturday at 11:30 am at Gaston Memorial Park.
