Barbara Carpenter

Barbara Carpenter, 60, of Dallas, NC passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her residence.

She was born January 27, 1962, in Rutherford County to Wayne Honeycutt and the late Carole Haulk Honeycutt.

Barbara was a member of Flint Groves Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir. She loved working with the children at church. She faithfully worked at Samaritan's Purse each year for Operation Christmas Child. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Carpenter, daughters; Kassye Leonard and husband Matthew, Veronica Carpenter, and fiancé Dustin Cash; sister, Vickye Moss, and husband Scott; grandchildren, Christian Leonard, Addisyn Johnson, Jeremy Cash, Annabelle Cash.

A celebration of life service officiated by Senior Pastor Ronnie Bowers, will be held Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11:00am at Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2017 E. Ozark Avenue, Gastonia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2017 E. Ozark Ave. Gastonia, NC 28054.
