Barbara Jane Buchanan Dellinger

Barbara Jane Buchanan Dellinger, 74, of Bessemer City, went home to be with Jesus on February 23, 2018.

She was born August 29, 1943, in Gastonia, to the late James "Arthur" Buchanan and Marjorie Fish Buchanan.

Mrs. Dellinger was a longtime member of Lowell Church of God.

She was employed with American Effird with over 30 years of service.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Lowell Church of God officiated by Pastor Joe Heffner.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment is private.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debra Dellinger Spears and husband, Scott; special grandson, Dalton Stewart Spears of Kings Mountain; brother, Jeffery "Buck' Buchanan and wife, Sonda of Dallas; sister-in-law, Irma Buchanan of Gastonia; many nieces and nephews; special friends considered as family, the Heffner Family.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Diane Heffner, Flubby Bradley and Glenda Carpenter who showed her unconditional love and care.

She was preceded in death by special friend, Paul Heffner Sr.; sister, Judy Ann Buchanan; brother, Max Buchanan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lowell Church of God 804 West 1st Street Lowell, NC 28098.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
