Barbara Barnette

Barbara Jackson Barnette, 70, of Gastonia, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born on July 5, 1950, in Gaston County, to the late Hubert Jackson and Annie Mae Mason.

Barbara was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church. She was the toddler Sunday School teacher for many years. Barbara had a kind heart. She was an auntie to all whom she knew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Thomas Conner.

Left to cherish Barbara's memories are her brothers, Eddie Jackson and wife Ann, David Jackson and wife Cheryl, Cecil Jackson and girlfriend Gail Elks, and Jerry Jackson; niece, Kathy Brown; nephew, Bobby Ferrell; great-nieces, Stephanie Ringer and Kaylan Rice and boyfriend Brandon Vincent; great-nephew, Kenny Brown; 2 great great-nephews, Marshal and Matthew; and 2 great great-nieces, Audrey and Taylor.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is assisting the family.
