Audrey Broadway Rowland

Audrey Broadway Rowland, 78, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 1, 1938, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ira Oliver Broadway and Nannie McCorkle Broadway.

Audrey was a member of First Assembly of God in Gastonia.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Randall Rowland, Sr.; son, Randall Rowland, Jr. and wife, Kathy; daughters, Carole Rowland Raber and husband, Dennis, Nancy Rowland Raber and husband, Ed; brother, Edwin Broadway and wife, Carolyn; and grandchildren, Samantha, Audrey, Rowland, Amanda, and Kait.

A memorial service will be held 12 noon on Monday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia. The Revs. Ken Dill and Edwin Broadway will be officiating.

The family will receive friends 11:00-11:45am before the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund, 777 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
