Arnold Paul Carver

Arnold Paul Carver, 77, of Lincolnton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Arnold was born in Banner Elk NC and was the son of the late Rev. Earl Lance Carver and Stella Jones Carver. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Wednesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia and will be officiated by the Rev. James Drennan, Rev. Ralph Carver, Rev. Luther Carver and Rev. Junior Carver. Interment will follow in Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. The family will receive friends from 6 -9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janelle Lewis Carver, sons and daughters in-law, Keith and Susan Carver, Doug and Candi Carver, brothers and sisters in-law, Rev. Ralph and Geneva Carver, Rev. Luther and Phyllis Carver, Rev. Earl "Junior" and Teresa Carver, sisters and brother in-laws, Wayne and Mary Watts, Jimmy and Betty Smith, Gerald and Minnie Johnson, grandchildren, Josh, Brittany, Alexis, Cami and Gabby Carver, great granddaughter, Kendall Pasour, mother in-law, Hazel Lewis, brother in-law, Charles Lewis, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
