Arlene Marie Icenhour

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arlene Marie Icenhour, who left us on June 12, 2026, in Gastonia, NC. Born on January 3, 1940, in Delaware, Arlene lived a full life dedicated to her family and her work.

A loving mother, Arlene is survived by her son, George Icenhour Jr; daughter, Theresa Turner; grandchildren, Sarah Turner, Angela Turner, Jackie Turner, and Marcus Turner Sr; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaleb, Dylan, Waylon, Marcus Jr., Xander, and Kamdyn; brother, Robert Dean (Sue). Family was everything to her, and she treasured the time spent with them.

Arlene was preceded in death by husband, George Icenhour; mother, Sarah Dean; son, Keith Icenhour.

Arlene was a cherished member of the Mountain View Agape Church, where she found community and connection. Her faith and love for those around her will always be remembered.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at a visitation on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Arlene will be reunited with her husband at Hollywood Cemetery.
